The Salvation Army provides safe places and structured after-school programs that enrich the lives of children, ages five to 14, under the umbrella of Christian values and leadership.

Programs are planned but fun! We help children with homework but we also teach them how to cook and convert ounces to cups through a culinary arts program. We cultivate a child’s creativity while they craft holiday cards for seniors. We teach coordination and teamwork while they play hula hoop tag. Then, there are the science experiments and computer labs where they learn everything from animals and biology to space and weather.

Salvation Army After-School Programs serve five counties: Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton, and Ellis. The centers are open Monday through Friday and follow the school district calendar in each county. Hours of operation and program fees vary by location.
